This feud results in the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Parents and children are very different. Adults are stiff and children run on impulse; most kids stray from their parentsââ¬â¢ way of life and go off on their own. Sometimes parents influence their childrenââ¬â¢s opinion on important matters. Many times this can be a good thing but other times its bad. Since often times children are easy to influence itââ¬â¢s not hard for them to inherit their parentsââ¬â¢ way of thinking. Many times parents donââ¬â¢t realize that they have this effect on their kids. And though they donââ¬â¢t realize it, they are indirectly harming their kidââ¬â¢s ability to think on their own. Parentsââ¬â¢ opinions about people can also be given to their kids. (Romeo III. I. 62-63) ââ¬Å"Boy this shall not excuse the injur ies that thou has done me; therefore turn and drawâ⬠. Romeo and Tybalt were persuaded to hate each other. Adults learn to love, children act on love based on impulse. Parents donââ¬â¢t know how to feel the effects of love at first sight. Children, however, do just that and that alone. Kids do not think; they feel. Most adults would be angered by such spontaneity and call it foolish. However, love is supposed to be something that you feel not think. Being stubborn, kids donââ¬â¢t like to take advice from parents on their love interest because they know that is love. ââ¬Å"Exchange of thy loveââ¬â¢s faithful vow for mineâ⬠(II II 127); Romeo and Juliet married after only knowing each other one night. Because Romeo and Julietââ¬â¢s parents hated each other, they were forced to hide their marriage. Since Lord Capulet did not know of Julietââ¬â¢s marriage she was forced to marry Paris. When Romeo killed Tybalt and was banished Juliet poisoned herself with a sleeping drug, so that she did not have to marry Paris. Romeo killed himself when he believed Juliet was dead. After, Juliet found Romeo dead and killed herself. This was all because of the feud between the two families. (IV I 71-2) ââ¬Å"If rather than to will to kill thyselfâ⬠. Because she hid her and Romeoââ¬â¢s marriage she had to ââ¬Å"killâ⬠herself; if their parents had gotten along none of this would have happened. The values of parents and children are very different. Although some believe are similar the tow worlds are completely different. The few times that parents and children agree, it leads to harm. In Romeo and Julietââ¬â¢s case their parentââ¬â¢s hatred for each other drives the two to lying which eventually causes their demise. Its best to just have your beliefs and be different than parents.
